Corporate Pharmacy Signage
Signs are tools and items used by every company and business to distinguish themselves from other firms, advertise, and indicate their location. Like all businesses, pharmacies are required to use signs, but there are certain rules that must be followed for corporate pharmacy signage. Pharmacy signs are made in the same forms and colors to distinguish pharmacies from other businesses. Corporate pharmacy signage consists solely of red and white colors. A uniform signage application is in place for pharmacies, and this application was published in the official gazette in 2014, taking effect from that date. As pharmacies are an important link in the healthcare chain, signs belonging to pharmacies must also be designed and placed in a way that facilitates patients. For this reason, ensuring that pharmacies are easily distinguishable from other firms was implemented with the uniform signage application, providing great convenience to patients.
New Applications in Pharmacy Signage

According to the rules that have come into effect and are mandatory to implement, corporate pharmacy signage cannot be illuminated. Other than the word "ECZANE" (Pharmacy), no other part of the sign can have lighting. The sign backgrounds must be made of composite material, and the letters forming the word "eczane" must be vacuum-formed from red plexiglass. This application aims to ensure that patients can reach pharmacies more easily. Furthermore, it is planned to prevent visual pollution and eliminate unfair competition. The size of the pharmacy sign is calculated considering the facade of the pharmacies; there are no restrictions in this regard. As the design is determined to be uniform, using different designs and fonts is prohibited. If lighting is desired on the sign, only the "eczane" text, written in vacuum-formed red plexiglass, can be illuminated using LED lighting. The pharmacy name should be written below the red "eczane" text, in a single font type, using black capital letters.
