Boron Mines in Turkey are Being Extracted
Eti Maden Enterprises is the locomotive institution of Turkish mining, operating in the fields of mining, metallurgy, and chemistry, producing boron mineral, which is the underground power source of our country, as well as other underground resources such as minerals and their derivatives, with a capital of 200 million today. Within the framework of the relevant laws, the General Directorate of Eti Maden Enterprises has undertaken the task of producing, processing, and marketing boron minerals and other underground minerals, which are one of the underground riches of our country. The enterprises and directorates affiliated with the General Directorate of Eti Maden Enterprises include Bandırma Boron and Acid Factories, Kırka Boron, Emet Boron, Bigadiç Boron Operating Directorates, Istanbul, Izmir, Bandırma, Değirmenözü Logistics Directorates, Overseas Representatives, and Subsidiaries.

Among the boron mineral and its derivatives produced by Eti Maden Enterprises, refined and unrefined boron products include boric acid, boron oxide, eti-boron, borax pentahydrate, and borax decahydrate. It was aimed to increase the capacity of boron chemicals and equivalent products to 3.2 million tons in 2016 and to 5.5 million tons in 2023.
